April showers...
April started with a lovely warm sunny Easter weekend, which we spent at my mum's with my crazy sisters and their even crazier kids - it's always total chaos when we get together and we had an Easter Egg hunt and some egg & spoon races. Most of April was taken up with school holidays and kids activities - visits from cousins, Cub Camp and Beavers Camp, Dancing Festivals and hanging out with friends - which of course, meant that nothing got ticked off the list!! We took the kids to London for the day and saw so many landmarks - St Pauls Cathedral, Borough Market, a trip on the DLR, the Greenwich foot tunnel under the river, Cutty Sark, a riverboat ride, big Ben & the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and polishing it all off with Hamleys!! The kids were exhausted but had a fab day! On the plus side - I went to see my doctor and got started on my HRT so fingers crossed that will make a difference to some of the symptoms I'
